It’s been a while, huh? My reason is pretty great… this sweet boy graced us with his presence at the end of June. His name is Caleb Mason and he is absolutely amazing. My pregnancy went well. I had the normal aches and pains, worked out consistently with my Camp Gladiator peeps until about 21-ish weeks then decided to rest and focus on what was next for me.
I’m excited to get back on track. I’m proof that it’s okay to take a step back and re-evaluate life, which includes what you’re currently doing and what you want to do. And not feel bad about it!
Now, I’ll be honest, am I kicking myself for not documenting every single #fitmom workout and allowing you to follow my preggo journey?
Maybe a little.
However, I’ve come to terms with it and taking the time to just be and focus on myself and those closest to me was the best thing.
Emotionally, it’s been an interesting few months but I’m excited for this season of my life. Everything happens for a reason. I have a husband who is encouraging and supportive, 3 gorgeous boys who drive me nuts (figuratively and literally), amazing family and friends and a sincere want to positively change the lives of others through fitness and overall health/wellness. Now I get to embark on my own journey, which involves getting back to my pre-pregnancy level of fitness and beyond!! I see this blog evolving eventually. Into what? I’m not sure, but I’m excited to share it with you.
I’m ready to begin…again.
